One time send, multiple messages over time or an autoresponder. The choice is yours.
A message campaign is a series of timed messages that are automatically sent to your subscriber list.
You can have as many campaigns as you like with as many messages as you like in them.
Campaigns are associated with a single list and each campaign has it's own time zone set for scheduling.
Campaigns are connected to a list which have SUBSCRIBE and UNSUBSCRIBE keywords that you can change to be anything you like. These keywords are one of the ways people can join your campaign. As an example:
You create a campaign connected to a list with the subscribe keyword as HELLO. Whenever someone messages your third-party messaging account or SMS telephone number with that word, they'll be automatically added to your campaign.
You create a campaign connected to a list with the unsubscribe keyword as END. Whenever someone messages your third-party messaging account or SMS telephone number with that world, they'll be automatically removed from the campaign.
How to create a message campaign:
Log in to your ubisend account, on the left navigation click "SEND"
On the right-hand side of the screen click the orange button "New Campaign"
On the new screen, choose "Create Campaign"
The first thing to do is to choose which list this campaign should be associated with. A list can have many campaigns running on it, but a campaign can only run on one list.
If you're planning on using SMS to send messages for this campaign you'll have to add a telephone number to your account. If this is the case, you'll see a prompt to do so just below the box where you selected the list.
Next up, name your campaign. If you're planning on having many campaigns you should put some thought into this.
Finally, choose the time zone for the messages to be sent in. It's a good idea to use the time zone of the majority of the subscribers to the campaign, that way you'll ensure you're not sending messages to people at 3'oclock in the morning!
When you're finished click next. Your campaign will be saved and you'll be able to start adding messages.
